Scott Jackson and Carlos Hambleton have been beekeeping together for over 25 years. What began as a shared hobby eventually grew into a passion-fueled business. In 2009, as the demand for raw, local honey continued to rise, they officially launched Texas Raw Honey. What started with just 4 to 6 retail locations has now grown into a thriving operation, currently serving between 80 and 90 vendors in and around the Fort Worth area.
Early on, Scott and Carlos sold their honey at local farmers markets and health food stores. As interest in raw honey expanded, they partnered with another experienced beekeeper in the brush country of South Texas to increase their supply while maintaining the high standards of quality and purity that customers had come to expect.
With over three decades of combined beekeeping experience, they take pride in producing and distributing honey that is truly raw, unfiltered, and Texas-sourced. Their business primarily supports small, independent “mom and pop” shops—keeping their roots close to the community and the land.
Carlos brings a scientific edge to the work with degrees in zoology and botany. His professional background includes leading the engineering service group at Lockwood Irrigation Systems in Nebraska, where he worked with agricultural equipment such as circle crop and potato harvesters, tree shakers, orchid sprayers, and pecan sorting tables. He’s also a dedicated gardener and plant enthusiast.
Scott, a retired public school teacher, brings a background in education and entrepreneurship, having run several small businesses. His steady leadership and attention to detail help keep the operation running smoothly day to day.
Together, Carlos and Scott have built Texas Raw Honey on a foundation of hard work, deep knowledge, and genuine love for beekeeping—delivering quality honey and supporting small businesses across Texas.
Texas Raw Honey is more than just a business—it’s a family. Built on hard work, shared values, and a passion for providing a natural, healthier alternative to processed sugar, our team is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of our customers. We believe in quality you can trust and products that support overall well-being.
Kerri Jackson, Scott’s wife, is the heart behind the scenes—known for her sweet nature and constant support. You’ll often find her at local farmers markets alongside the team, helping create a warm and welcoming experience.
Sarah Jackson, currently pursuing a degree in graphic design, brings a calm, laid-back, and polite presence. She helps keep things running smoothly both at events and behind the scenes.
Delaney Migura, a nursing major, is friendly, charming, and a strong presence at markets. She plays a key role in daily operations and customer interactions.
Israel “Izzy” Josey, a finance major, brings high energy and a natural sales personality. He supports both customer-facing roles and behind-the-scenes operations like packaging and logistics.
Grace DuBose, a communications major, played an important role in growing Texas Raw Honey. Her bubbly, outgoing personality helped expand the brand’s presence and build lasting customer connections.
Together, this team—past and present—reflects what Texas Raw Honey is all about: family, dedication, and a commitment to helping people make better, more natural choices.

Whipped or creamed honey is honey that had been processed to control crystallization, giving it a smooth, spreadable consistency.
Take in small doses and gradually increase intake. Sprinkle on your yogurt, cereal or smoothies, stir into honey or mix with warm water.
Bee pollen contains proteins and is a rich source of antioxidants, it boosts immune system, reduces inflammation, supports energy and stamina, aids in allergy relief, supports cardiovascular health, and helps with wound healing.
Not all raw honey is organic, and not all organic honey is raw. Raw honey simply means it's unprocessed and unpasteurized, while organic honey means it comes from bees that forage on organically grown plants and are managed without synthetic chemicals.
We do not claim our raw honey to be organic because our honey comes from free ranged bee's that can travel miles from the hive.
